Waterfox's founder wrote in December 2025 that Waterfox will not include large language models. The same post separates those from narrow machine-learning tools such as local translation. We read the maker's own pages; we didn't install the app for this check.

Apps change, so Waterfox may add AI features after our check. Report a change · What we count as generative AI

Waterfox is a free, open-source desktop browser built on the same Gecko engine as Firefox, with built-in ad blocking, private DNS and tree-style tabs. Its maker's December 2025 post says: “Waterfox will not include LLMs.”
