How this site is made
Hi, I'm Dee. I founded NoAIAlts because I wanted tools that leave the creating to people. One real person decides what makes this list: me. Every tool here is checked and approved by me before it goes live, and nothing is published without my say-so.
NoAIAlts is run by Dee and operated by Alts Directories (UK). We list software and apps where we have not found generative AI features (features that create text, images, audio, video or code). We use AI tools to help research listings, build the site and keep it updated. Dee reviews and approves every listing and label before it is published.
Each listing shows the date we last checked it and the plan or version we looked at. Apps change often, so a tool may add AI features after our check. If you spot one, tell us at [email protected] and we'll re-check and correct the listing.
Some links may be affiliate links, and some listings may be paid “Top Pick” placements. Both are clearly labelled “Ad”, and payment never changes a tool's AI label.
