Proton Mail has Proton Scribe, a generative AI writing assistant that drafts and rewrites emails. Proton's help page shows how to switch it on and off in settings. That's why it carries the “AI optional or can be switched off” label, not the no-AI label. We read the maker's own pages; we didn't install the app for this check.
Apps change, so Proton Mail may add AI features after our check. Report a change · What we count as generative AI
